All Walks have been selected with the following factors in mind:
Traffic
Some walks may include quiet country lanes but main roads or busy lanes are always avoided.
Any traffic issues are highlighted:

The routes we have selected should not be subject to heavy traffic or include difficult crossings.

Beach & river walking.
Youngsters love exploring beaches or shallow rivers.

This is often in the form of information boards or as in the case of Haldon, various large wooden instruments and shelters.
Wildlife and nature trails
Walks through nature reserves or butterfly walks, ie Haldon, Exeter Valley Park, capture children's imagination.
