This is one of our most popular walks following public footpaths and quiet lanes.
Although there are some steady climbs, the experience of walking from a tranquil valley to forested hills is quite invigorating.
Not surprisingly, the Firefighters Charity have established a retreat in this peaceful part of Haldon.
