The park with its large lake and a rich variety of habitats, all carefully marked with instructive notice boards.,has been declared a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Poetry Trail celebrating the poems of Ted Hughes who lived for most of his life in North Tawton,Devon and was a favourite amongst many primary school children.
How do I get there?
Off the A382, almost opposite entrance to Trago Mills. It is well signed!
All walks start facing the lake with the Information centre & Toilets on your right.
