Stover Country Park Walks

Stover Country Park , once part of a large estate owned by James Templer, is an ideal centre for both long and short family walks.

The park with its large lake and a rich variety of habitats, all carefully marked with instructive notice boards.,has been declared a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
You can also follow a Poetry Trail celebrating the poems of Ted Hughes who lived for most of his life in North Tawton,Devon and was a favourite amongst many primary school children.
How do I get there?
Off the A382, almost opposite entrance to Trago Mills. It is well signed!
All walks start facing the lake with the Information centre & Toilets on your right.
