Walk 1
Distance:2.6 miles | Time:1h 10 mins |
This is an ideal family walk around the Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth. Although short (2.6 miles) , allow for at least 1 hour and 20 minutes ,as the route involves one steep climb. Follow a public footpath through the donkey sanctuary to the coast line where the views are quite stunning. You have an option to bravely descend to the beach following steep steps. Follow the south west coastal path for half a mile then make sure where the path splits you take a right path inland to a gate - see map . It is tempting to continue along the coast - check GPS. |
