The first walk of moderate difficulty follows part of small river, the Dawlish Water, with its famous black swans introduced from Australia. On the town's outskirts, it climbs fairly steadily for about 15 minutes, but descends gently offering magnificent views of the sea and countryside. The final stretch is along the sea front towards Cowhole Rock and a row of colourful beach huts. |
