Aylesbeare Common
It's quite remarkable that during WWII this area had an 'airstrip' lit up at night as a decoy for Exeter Airport.

This walk starts near the Aylesbeare Inn (unfortunately pub is closed) and gently climbs up to the Common where the views are quite stunning. There is one steepish climb. | |||
