Walk 1 Emsworthy Mire (1 mile)
Difficulty:
A short and pleasant rural walk from Saddle Tor Car Park South around the Nature Reserve.
No climbs or steep descents. The route is just a suggestion.

Walk 2 Mire and Saddle Tor (1.8 miles)
Difficulty:
A magnificent walk with delightful views. Most paths are clearly visible. The route contains some steady climbs and descents.
The Walk
A The walk can be done from both Car Parks but we suggest you start from Saddle Tor North , nearest to Saddle Tor.
With your back to the main road , head left towards Saddle Tor following a clear and gently climbing track.
B Once on the saddle of Saddle Tor head South West and aim for Saddle Tor South Car Park.
You can continue in westerly direction towards the main entrance to the nature reserve but there is no clear path to lead you.
C At Saddle Tor South turn right and follow a track leading to the nature reserve.
D From here the path is not clear and some sections may be boggy.
Turn right and aim for the top of Emsworthy Rocks.
E Follow path through Emsworthy Rocks then head SE back to car park.
