Pitminster Walk

through an ancient deer Park
Pitminster Walk

This delightful and gentle walk starts south of Taunton and takes you to Pitminster Church with its unusual octagonal bell chamber.

Difficulty:

You cross quite a spectacular footbridge spanning the M5.

it then returns via Corfe, following mainly footpaths, and part of the East Deane Way.

The walk crosses an old deer park dating back to the 13th century- wild deer can still be seen in this area.
