Walk 1
Distance:5.5 miles | Time:2h 20 mins |
This walk is quite strenuous with a steady climb out of Chudleigh past an old convent along the 'Orange Way' .
It follows more country lanes than public foot paths thus making it not a dog walk. Part of the footpath, near Ranscombe, can be quite tricky. However, there are some very rewarding views and moments of utter tranquility walking through a most undisturbed part of Devon. Trusham boasts one pub Cridford Inn There is a memorial plaque dedicated to the poet Charles Causley
The walk has several steep climbs and descents. |
