Walk 1

Walk 1 Town Trail (2 miles)

An easy town trail 2 miles,45 minutes, takes you through historic parts of Exmouth, its harbour and beach.It follows part of the Blue Plaque Trail. Walk along the Beacon and see: the hotel where the 28 year old composer Franz Liszt accompanied by his 'travelling circus' stayed & played his party piece,the 'Grand Galop Chromatique', in August 1840 to a modest lunch time audience of 35 , tickets 6' each (3 days wages for an average worker!) , before travelling to Teignmouth where he entertained a 'tired audience , with 2 additional pieces. the house Lady Nelson shared with her son Byron court, where Lady Byron lived with her daughter, who later in life pioneered computing with Charles Babbage.

Walk 4 Along the Jurassic Coast (2.5 miles)

A superb and highly recommended coastal walk of moderate difficulty along the Jurassic Coast. A It follows a rare & unique beach landscape between Orcome Point and Sandy Bay below the dramatic Jurassic cliffs - dogs will have plenty of space. B The South Beach Cafe is a popular half way point. C It returns following a well defined public footpath along the cliffs. You could also follow the beach to Sandy Bay and return the same way - views are always most spectacular! During high tides it will be impossible* to complete this walk!* Caution! Walk 5 Popular Walk (3.8 miles)

Tap map for larger version		This popular walk takes you along the seafront; although the track runs along the pavement there's nothing stopping you from walking on the beach or getting your feet wet. There as some truly spectacular views of the Torquay to Starcross coastline.

Walk 6 Littleham & Sandy Bay (3.6 miles)
