Kennford lies along the main Roman road from Exeter to Kingsteignton becoming an important 'service station' for those having to cross Haldon.

This short (revised) walk ,with several pubs en route ,takes you into the picturesque village of Kenn & past the idyllic Ley Arms. It climbs steadily beyond Kenn's church offering stunning views of Haldon and the Exe estuary at the top, beyond Lears Copse.

The route joins Gissons lane leading to Bickham Gardens ,open to the public from April to September - see map (bottom corner) & TAP on link for details.
